The
master of
the 2 most effective finishing moves in IwW (the
Triple 6 & The Teardrop), 'The Heretic' Red Vinny
has been on a warpath through out european wrestling
over the last 2 years.
When IwW held their first ever
show featuring their trainees, no one made more of
an impression on the fans then this mysterios highflying
vagabond.
Not only is he a student in
the ways of the squared circle. With several martial
arts disciplines under his belt including Capoeira,
Katani-Karate-Do, Tae-Kwon-Do, Judo and Ju-Jitsu, he
mixes his hard hitting technical
skill with the teachings of the orient and beyond.
With very little known of his
past, fans wondered what his agenda in the ring was.
He claims to hail from Vana' Diel. A land that existed
in Norse/Celtic mytholgy hunderds of years ago. However,
there was no denying his prowleness. After defeating
several IwW students, he began a short friendly rivalary
with "the American Rockstar" CJ Summers and NWA Wildside
light heavy weight champion, Fast Eddie. In which the
Heretic emerged victorious.
However, the fans cheers would
soon die down. When his only friend and firm crowd
favourite Sheamus O' Shaunessy, won the right to fight
for the FWA heavyweight title, it sent Vinny over the
edge, and he cost his friend the championship. More
importantly it cost the Heretic his fans.
With this change came the answers
the fans wished to know. The Heretic revealed his ansestory
to the Norse warriors that hundreds of years ago pillaged
this country. He claimed to see the same weakness in
modern man, thet the Vikings saw on the Island of Saints
and Scolors. Ireland, according to him, was a centre
and example of the worlds problems. Leaving behind
his christian and familys name, took the name of his
ansestor Vincent the Red, a man crucified on these
shores for his beliefs.
A Heretic satrted this war on
weakness, and a new age Heretic will end it.
Over the last months, Red Vinny
has defeated CZW Jr. Heavyweight champion M-Dogg 20,
XPW european champion Jonny Storm, former FWA heavyweight
champion Jody Fleish.
