'THEE' DREW GALLOWAY STRIPPED OF IwW INTERNATIONAL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
It is with great sadness and regret that Irish Whip Wrestling wishes to announce to its fans that it has been forced to strip 'Thee' Drew Galloway of the IwW International Heavyweight Championship.
Galloway has been IwW International Heavyweight Champion since August 2006 and defeated the likes of Go Shiozaki, Taiji Ishimori and 'The Phoenix' Jody Fleisch while champion.
However due to his increasing demand on the independent scene, Galloway was unable to make a series of scheduled title defences and was forced to pull out of a string shows at very short notice.
It has therefore been deemed that since Galloway is unable to defend the belt on as regular a basis as IwW would prefer, IwW must strip him of the title belt and instead contest it between a string of new, hungry challengers.
"There is no doubt about it that Drew is one of the finest wrestlers on the European independent scene today," said one IwW spokesperson. "We had high hopes for Drew upon him winning the belt last August and envisioned him taking the belt to previously unseen heights.
"Unfortunately immediately after Drew won the IwW Title Belt his career seemed to take over simultaneously and, coupled with university commitments at home, it led to him being unable to travel to Ireland on a regular basis and defend the title in previously scheduled bouts."
The spokesperson continued, "We at Irish Whip Wrestling love nothing more than to bring the excitement and drama of a Heavyweight Championship match to as many fans across the country as possible. It has been a staple of our product since the IwW International Championship came into existence in 2005. However Drew's external commitments made it impossible for him to defend the belt nearly as much as we would have liked.
"Make no mistake about it though, there is no personal or professional animosity between Irish Whip Wrestling and Drew Galloway. We highly respect him both inside and outside the ring and believe he similarly appreciates the massive exposure he got with Irish Whip. If he decides that he can work Irish dates again in the foreseeable future, we would definitely consider booking him again should it suit both parties. It's just that as a champion, he is unfortunately no longer able to compete for IwW at a level that we would desire. We wish Galloway the best of luck in his future endeavours and wish to thank him for his time with Irish Whip Wrestling."
However the title will not remain vacant for long, as a huge match was announced for this Wednesday's IwW Gym War 18 to crown a new champion. See below for details.

IwW GYM WAR 18

Doors Open: 6.30pm
Bell-Time: 7pm
Just announced at IwW Zero-Gravity:
FOR THE VACANT IwW INTERNATIONAL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
KID KASH
versus
VIC VIPER
With the controversial news that 'Thee' Drew Galloway has been stripped of the IwW International Heavyweight Championship sending shockwaves around Ireland at IwW Zero-Gravity, IrishWhipWrestling.com is proud to announce this huge title match for the vacant championship.
In one corner is Kid Kash, a former WWE, TNA and ECW star who made an immediate impact in IwW upon his debut at IwW Zero-Gravity last Sunday roughing up the likes of Bam Katrazz, Pac and Red Vinny and winning over the IwW crowd in the process. Many feel that Kash should have won the tournament after he was controversially eliminated without being pinned, but he has a second chance to win IwW gold this Wednesday.
However he must square off against none other than Number One Contender, Vic Viper. Viper has been on an unstoppable path towards the gold since he hooked up with Agent Timothy several months ago. More focused and malicious than ever, Viper has beaten every top name in IwW in an effort to prove himself a worthy champion. Now he gets his opportunity, but to win the gold he must defeat one of the top names in the world in the process.
This is bound to be a hard-hitting contest filled with controversy, make sure you don't miss this historic match this Wednesday at IwW Gym War 18!
WOMEN OF RoH INVADE IRISH WHIP WRESTLING
2007 is looking to be the biggest year in Irish wrestling history, as in addition to IwW Zero-Gravity and IwW SuperShow Sunday, IrishWhipWrestling.com is extremely proud to announce that this Wednesday 17th January, the ever-popular IwW Gym Wars series makes its long-awaited return!
But that's not all as IwW promise a star-studded line-up, as in addition to all of our regular stars some of the top women's talent from across the globe in a very-special fully-seated show!
On the bill so far are such names as:
DAIZEE HAZE (RoH, Shimmer)
LACEY (RoH, Shimmer)
JENNIDEE (IwW)
JEZEBEL (RQW Women's Champion)
JETTA (RQW, LDN)
FIRST-EVER ZERO-GRAVITY TITLE DEFENCE THIS WEDNESDAY
BINGO BALLANCE (Champion)
versus
BAM KATRAZZ (Challenger, as voted by IwW fans)
Just three days after edging out 11 of the world's top Zero-Gravity talent, Bingo Ballance must make his first defence of his newly-won title against none other than close personal friend, Bam Katrazz.
Katrazz received quite a beating at the hands of Kid Kash Sunday, but as he said in an in-ring interview later in the show, remains determined to become Zero-Gravity Champion. He must do this though, on the back of said beating after winning a poll of the IrishWhipWrestling.com fan forum to get his title shot.
These two have a long and storied history. Both trainers in the IwW training school, 'B&B' as they refer to themselves are two of the best friends backstage in the Irish Whip locker room. They both made waves on the IwW singles scene in 2006 and look to further advance their careers in the Zero-Gravity division in 2007. Their match at IwW Gym War 17 was a standout and definite Match of the Year candidate for 2006, and they look to repeat the job here.
But you have no doubt that this time, it will be Bam who wishes to emerge victorious and take the Zero-Gravity Championship from his close friend. However it is tough to see Ballance laying down and giving his co-trainer the belt after going through three consecutive wars in one night to win it. Who will leave Gym Wars Zero-Gravity Champion? Only way to find out is to make your way down to the IwW Training Gym this Wednesday!
IwW STARS SET TO CONTINUE GYM WAR LEGACY

IwW Zero-Gravity
Sunday 14th January
Combined Community Centre,
Balbriggan,
Dublin
IwW Crowns the first-ever Zero-Gravity Champion
Come witness Irish Whip Wrestling make history in its first show of 2007 when, in January, we crown our first-ever IwW Zero-Gravity Champion!
The Tournament:
There will be a 12-man tournament to crown the champion, participants will be revealed over the coming weeks. In the first round, six singles matches will determine who advances to the semi-finals, where two triple-threat matches will bring the tournament down to the final two who will compete in the first-ever IwW Zero-Gravity Championship Match!
1st Round Draw:
'The Man that Gravity Forgot' Pac vs. 'Better Than You' Ashton Brown
A four-year veteran of the Welsh and British circuit, Ashton Brown makes a splash onto the Irish Whip Wrestling scene looking to make an impact in the best possible way by winning the IwW Zero-Gravity Championship!
Brown's 'Better Than You' attitude has seen him make quite a few enemies in the UK wrestling scene, and he has squared off with several of the competitors in the Zero Gravity tournament beforehand, facing the likes of Red Vinny and El Ligero on the Welsh circuit last November alone.
His 'Ash & Burn' finisher has seen him win various championships across the British scene (he was the first-ever 4FW Champion for example) and since beginning his career in 2002 has earned a name for himself as one of the most exciting young talents said scene has to offer today. IwW are excited to see what Brown can bring to the table come January 14th!
However he will find serious opposition in only the 1st Round when he squares up with 'The Man that Gravity Forgot', the current 1PW Openweight Champion, Pac.
Pac needs no introduction as his reputation is one that truly preceeds itself. One of the youngest but most sought-after talents today, Pac's 630 Splash along with a glittering array of other death-defying, high-risk moves has seen him earmarked as one of the future stars of British wrestling.
This is not Pac's first venture into the IwW Zero-Gravity division however, as he was one of the division's originators upon its inception in 2006. With memorable battles against fellow tournament favourites Bingo Ballance and Red Vinny, Pac was one of the foremost international talents in getting the division its already sterling reputation.
He has won a slew of titles already around the UK scene, but 8 months after Pac helped to put the Zero-Gravity division on the map can he had this belt to his repetoire? He will be hard-pressed with the 12-men already entered into the tournament, but you would be a fool to bet against it!
El Ligero vs.'The Heretic' Red Vinny
Two of Europe's most exciting and innovative Zero-Gravity stars go head-to-head in a match that looks to kick the Zero-Gravity Tournament off in style.
El Ligero makes his IwW debut in style after plying his trade on the continent and now fights it out for perhaps the most prestigious Cruiserweight-style belt in Europe today. He is a cult figure on the British independent scene and can be watched every week on The Wrestling Channel as part of Real Quality Wrestling.
With his C4L DDT, Mexican Wave and El Booto, Ligero's luchador-inspired style makes his one of the most unique and exciting young talents to watch on the European scene today - and his talents have earned him a plethora of Championships throughout the UK.
To this day, such classic matches against fellow European IwW talent such as Pac and Bubblegum are still talked about and with both men also entered for the Zero-Gravity Tournament, the possibility of Ligero advancing could indeed be a mouth-watering one.
However he faces formidable opposition as he squares off with a man who could legitimately claim to have invented the Zero Gravity division - 'The Heretic' Red Vinny.
Vinny burst onto the Irish scene in 2004 and quickly earned a name and reputation for himself with classic matches against the likes of Irish Dragon and Bam Katrazz. 'The Heretic' would soon turn his growing reputation into serious results though, as at IwW's March 2004 SuperShow he won possibly the greatest match in IwW history when he defeated CZW's M-Dogg 20 along with British cruiserweight legends, 'The Wonderkid' Jonny Storm and 'The Phoenix' Jody Fleisch.
Vinny would continue to prove himself the real deal in an Irish Whip ring though, proving the win wasn't a fluke with consecutive singles wins over all three competitors later that year.
Along with Bingo Ballance, Vinny dominated the Zero Gravity division upon its inception in 2006 and goes into the tournament as one of, if not the sole, favourite to emerge as Champion. Can Vinny turn the potential that he turned into results into a Championship belt? You would be hard-pressed to bet against him...
Kid Kash vs.Bam Katrazz
In the final match of the first-round comes a mouth-watering contest as former WWE, TNA and ECW star Kid Kash takes on IwW favourite and Balbriggan's own, Bam Katrazz.
Kash is one of the true originators of Cruiserweight wrestling, from which the Zero-Gravity division gained its origins. He set the wrestling world alight throughout the 90s with his unorthodox and exciting style being one of the causes of ECW's quick and impressive rise and rise.
Kash would further his reputation in the 21st century, with his controversial rantings both in and outside the ring, along with his consistently stellar matches helping to get TNA off the ground. This would soon lead to him moving on for a run with World Wrestling Entertainment, where he almost immediately became WWE Cruiserweight Champion, holding the title twice before departing from the company.
He now comes to Irish Whip Wrestling set on making a similar impact. One of the most controversial and breath-taking stars in the wrestling business today, IwW look forward to seeing what he can bring to the IwW Zero-Gravity division.
Up against him is a man that will not lie down easily.
Bam Katrazz is without a doubt one of the most popular talents in Irish Whip Wrestling today. His lovable, cheeky antics along with his never-say-die attitude in the ring have seen him rise up the card at an astonishing pace and defeating some of the top talents in Ireland today.
He comes home to Balbriggan determined to pick up without a doubt the biggest victory of his career. Katrazz would usually find himself to be one of the tournament favourites, however now he faces the prospect of being an underdog in his own hometown against one of the top wrestlers in the world today.
Will Kash be able to use his experience edge to dominate Katrazz and advance or will Bam be able to pull out another big one?
'Tremendous' Emil Sitoci vs.Tyler Browne
IwW Zero-Gravity adds some international flavour to its first round as two of Europe's most undersung cruiserweights do battle in an attempt to controversially see the first Irish Whip Zero-Gravity Champion go to a non-Irish contender.
In one corner is Holland's 'Tremendous' Emil Sitoci. A five-year pro, 'The Tremendous One' was trained by such high-profile independent names as Chris Hero, Ian Rotten and Mike Quackenbush and is one of the hottest talents going on the European independent scene.
With his Tremendosity finisher, Sitoci has been one of the truly dominant names in Germany's acclaimed indy promotion wXw - and until recently held the wXw Cruiserweight Championship for a 15-month reign after defeating 'The Wonderkid' Jonny Storm for the belt in July 2005. IwW officials remain "intrigued but excited" to see what the Dutchman can offer to IwW fans.
In his way from advancing is Tyler Browne of Celtic Wrestling and various other UK promotions. Browne makes his debut in an IwW ring looking to make an impact and after years of wowing fans on the Welsh independent scene will look to do the same in an Irish Whip ring.
One of the most popular wrestlers in Wales today, Tyler is known for both his comedic, erratic ways as well as his amazing technical in-ring ability. He is the current Number One Contender to the Celtic Wrestling Heavyweight Championship, a belt many tip him to win.
However he comes into an Irish ring with steep opposition from the first round onwards. Can Browne's potential and experience on the British independent scene see him make a name for himself as a contender for the IwW Zero-Gravity Championship this Sunday 14th January? You'll have to be in Balbriggan to find out!
Bubblegum vs. Irish Dragon
Two IwW favourites collide in a potential show-stealing first round match.
Bubblegum is one of the most popular European talents to ever hit an IwW ring since his Irish debut in 2005. He was one of the true stars of both series of Whiplash TV, consistently giving fans everything he can to ensure a classic match, having such matches in the past against the likes of Red Vinny, Vic Viper and Bingo Ballance among others.
He may have an extremely fan-friendly image, but make no mistake about it Bubblegum can go in the ring. His Vanilla Thrilla finisher has put away some of the UK's finest, and his feud with 'The Heretic' Red Vinny in Real Quality Wrestling is regularly a show-stealing affair, where many tip 'The Man from Hubba-Bubba Ville' to take RQW Cruiserweight Gold. With both men placed at opposite ends of the draw, its quite possible that the two could even provide another mat classic in the final of the IwW Zero-Gravity tournament.
If that is to happen though, Bubblegum must face another fan favourite and another old foe of 'The Heretic' when he squares off against Irish Dragon.
Since the return of Dragon in February 2006, he has become renowned for putting on some of the highest quality matches in IwW and gaining some huge wins in the process.
In May 2006, he was the man who managed to shave the head of Rick O'Shea while he would pick up another huge victory over Red Vinny just two months later in his hometown of Clondalkin. He would then go on to win an amazing 3-way contest when IwW returned to Clondalkin in November, defeating Space Cadet and Bam Katrazz to qualify for the IwW Zero-Gravity tournament.
The one thing Irish Dragon is sorely missing though is a career-defining victory. He goes into IwW Zero-Gravity a staunch underdog, but has shown before that he has the possibility to pull out an upset victory when called upon. His first step is against Bubblegum. In a highly-competitive contest with both men out to prove themselves as outside contenders, who will get the ever-important three-count?
Bingo Ballance vs. Wildcard IwW Trainee
One of the favourites for the IwW Zero-Gravity Championship, Bingo Ballance, must enter the tournament at a slight disadvantage, with Irish Whip Wrestling officials opting to leave his opponent unnamed for the first round.
What IrishWhipWrestling.com does understand thus far is that this is a wildcard graduate from the IwW Training Gym who has not come through the qualifying process.
With Ballance being the head trainer of the IwW Training Gym, it is expected that his mystery opponent is a protege that has been trained by Bingo himself making this quite an intriguing match-up with an added teacher-vs-pupil vibe to it.
Bingo Ballance is a man who needs no introduction to fans of Zero-Gravity wrestling. He burst onto the IwW scene in mid/late 2005 and immediately set the undercard on fire, being declared the Rookie of the Year in IwW's 2005 Fan Awards after only a handful of matches.
2006 saw the fortunes of the naturally gifted Ballance only increase, as his feud with Red Vinny throughout the year along with such classic matches against the likes of Pac and fellow IwW trainers Bam Katrazz and Ballymun Bruiser made him one of the most talked about talents on the European Indy scene and he has transformed this into a series of international bookings that have seen him venture to the likes of Real Quality Wrestling for overseas action.
It would be difficult to bet against Ballance actually cashing in on all of his potential and momentum by winning the Championship himself, but in true Ballance style he must overcome the odds by eliminating his mystery opponent in the first round. Who will it be? And will Ballance be able to fulfill his destiny once-and-for-all and become Zero-Gravity Champion? Find out Sunday 14th January in Balbriggan!

*********************************
MAD MAN MANSON SURVIVES WEEKEND OF HELL
Mad Man Manson was set to have possibly one of the most prosperous weekends of his life. On Saturday he was scheduled to face longitime rival Rick O'Shea in a hardcore match, then on Sunday challenge 'Thee' Drew Galloway for the IwW International Heavyweight Championship belt. He would do the former, however a last minute email from Drew Galloway to IwW officials saw the champion pull out of the weekend's shows.
The champion would explain his absence with a doctor's note describing a 'severe broken fingernail received in a confrontation outside of a nightclub on Friday night', though it is rumoured that Drew's absence is more likely in fear of his former arch-nemesis and the run he has been on as of late.
Indeed, Manson was on rare form this weekend as he took care of two foes looking to settle a score once and for all.
On Saturday Manson and O'Shea took part in possibly the most violent match in Irish wrestling history. Inside and outside of the ring the two beat the hell into each other using belts, chairs, cakes and thumbtacks in the process. The turning point in the match would come after Manson would somehow summon the strength to kick out of O'Shea's Rickter Scale finisher onto thumbtacks. Shocked, O'Shea set up a platform of chairs on top of the tacks, only to have Manson counter his attempt at a second Rickter Scale and slam his foe through the platform, leaving a lifeless O'Shea having to be carried out of Verona Football Club and spend the night in Blanchardstown Hospital.
The following day saw Manson met with quite a different opposition as up-to-the-plate stepped Galloway's hand-picked replacement, Caiman. At the behest of the Scotsman, the former Celtic Wrestling Heavyweight Champion challenged Manson to a one-on-one contest later in the evening where 'The Insane One' was in for yet another barrage of punishment. In a rarity for Manson he found himself outsized and, it seemed at times, outclassed as the Welsh monster tore into Manson. It would take a rare visit to the top-rope for a bit of high-flying for Manson to comeback and seal yet another victory.
You have to believe that Galloway had both of these matches scouted over the weekend as the impending challenge of the unstoppable Manson draws closer. There is only so long that Galloway can avoid his fate as Manson's path of terror continues with the IwW roster trembling in his wake. But when the meeting finally comes, will Manson be able to have what it takes to win the gold?

IrishWhipWrestling.com is extremely proud to announce the birth of the 'IwW: We Care' initiative.
Over the next several months, some of the top names in Irish Whip Wrestling today will be visiting local primary and secondary schools across Ireland talking to children about the dangers of backyard wrestling.
"Basically it's been a long time coming," said one IwW spokesperson. "We are extremely concerned for the health and wellbeing of some of our younger fans who may try and attempt what they see on Whiplash, or even the likes of WWE Raw and SmackDown, at home.
"With more and more unfortunate articles being published in local and national newspapers condemning 'backyard wrestling' as we refer to it, it's about time that somebody in the limelight stood up and spoke to the kids on their level. Parents and newspapers, unfortunately, do not appear to be getting through to young children, so we figure that if the idols that they watch every week on television or at live shows appear in their schools it may have a greater impact on them. We want to show, most of all, that we at IwW do, indeed, care."
The initiative saw IwW wrestlers appear at its first school last week when Mad Man Manson (on a day release from New Bedlam Insane Asylum), Ballymun Bruiser and Rick O'Shea gave a series of talks at St Francis Xavier's Primary School, Blanchardstown.
For more information on the 'IwW: We Care' initiative, stay tuned to www.IrishWhipWrestling.com or, alternatively, check out the Sunday 15th October edition of the Blanch Gazette!

*Mad Man Manson returned to action, avenging his 'Asylum Rules' loss to Pierre Marceau in a six-man tag-team match where he along with Vic Viper & 'SOS' defeated The Foreign Legion (Marceau, Drew Galloway & Stu Sanders).
*Jezebel continued on her undefeated streak in women's matches in IwW, this time taking out Jetta in a hard-fought contest. However, the fiery competitor was confronted by 'The Liverpool Ladette' Jennidee, who claimed to have her number. Will Jennidee be able to defeat the seemingly unstoppable Jezebel? We'll have to find out over the next several weeks on Whiplash.
*George McFly came away with yet another impressive win when he defeated Dave Steel in one-on-one action.
This Week's on Whiplash
This looks set to be one of the biggest weeks in Whiplash history as 'Whiplash' travels to IwW International Intermingle with some big names making their Whiplash TV debut and possibly the biggest match in IwW history.
ZERO-GRAVITY ACTION
THE HORNET vs. 'THE HERETIC' RED VINNY
He has wrestled for RoH, CZW, Dragon Gate and some of the elite promotions in Mexico, now The Hornet looks to make an impact on Irish Whip Wrestling! This Canadian star is one of the brightest, young talents in wrestling today and looks to bring his travelled style to the Zero-Gravity division. However once there he will find more than capable opposition as he goes one-on-one with 'The Heretic' Red Vinny, who has fought and beaten some of the very best himself. As always with the Zero-Gravity division, anything can happen so make sure you don't miss this bound-to-be epic battle!
DOMINO vs. KEEGO WARD (w/BALLYMUN BRUISER)
One of All-Star Wrestling's hottest names at the moment Domino makes his singles debut in Irish Whip Wrestling. This 230-lb monster is one of British and, in fact, European wrestling's most unstoppable forces today and he looks to put IwW's own Keego Ward in his place once and for all. Ward has been tearing it up with partner Ballymun Bruiser for the past several months in IwW, reaking havoc on the Irish Whip locker room and making enemies right, left and centre. However in Domino, Keego looks to have finally met his maker. Can Keego and Bruiser survive this onslaught?
CAIMAN vs. MAD MAN MANSON
Welsh star Caiman makes his IwW Whiplash TV debut against one of the top names in IwW today, the recently returned Mad Man Manson. Having recently returned to action after defeating longtime enemy Pierre Marceau, Manson will be keen to get his winning streak back underway and no better way to start than by defeating one of the UK's top up-and-coming names in the Celtic Wrestling Heavyweight Champion.
IwW INTERNATIONAL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
'THEE' DREW GALLOWAY vs. 'SOS' SEAMUS O'SHAUNESSY
For the past year, 'Thee' Drew Galloway has been obsessed with wrestling the IwW International Heavyweight Championship away from arch-nemesis 'SOS' Seamus O'Shaunessy. This week on Whiplash TV he will receive his final opportunity. Galloway has gone to all lengths to defeat O'Shaunessy in their many battles of the past, but for one reason or another has fallen short at the hands of 'SOS'. This week on Whiplash it is all or nothing for the Scotsman, and it is safe to say that the odds are certainly in his favour - as Galloway has recently aligned himself with the Foreign Legion comprising of England's Stu Sanders and France's Pierre Marceau. In what will no doubt go down as one of the most memorable matches in IwW history, will this be one title defence too many for O'Shaunessy? Can Galloway finally take the gold?

IrishWhipWrestling.com is extremely proud to announce a huge Talent-Trading Agreement with some of the top independent promotions in the world today.
IwW fans can expect to see more of the stars of Canada's Pure Wrestling Association (PWA), the USA's American Championship Wrestling Alliance (ACWA), England's Real Quality Wrestling (RQW) and Celtic Wrestling (C/W) of Wales.
"This is a huge development for both IwW fans and fans of these respectively growing promotions alike," said one IwW spokesperson. "IwW prides itself on exposing the best homegrown and international talent, and both will thrive as a result of this agreement. IwW stars will grow and improve with increased global experience, while IwW fans can see some of the top names from the independent scene that only Irish Whip Wrestling can bring you."
Already some of these developments have been seen in the respective promotions today. Here are some examples:
RQW: One of England's fastest-growing independent promotions has already seen 'The Heretic' Red Vinny star on their most recent major event, while fans of IwW Whiplash TV have grown accustomed to seeing such RQW stars as Bubblegum and JP Monroe.
Celtic Wrestling: IwW fans have been fortunate enough to see C/W Heavyweight Champion Caiman perform in an Irish Whip ring throughout the summer, while Celtic fans have been repaid by being exposed to the likes of Mad Man Manson, Bingo Ballance and Ballymun Bruiser over the past several months.
ACWA: Fans will recall that ACWA Heavyweight Champion CJ Summers recently completed a one-month tour of Ireland, competing in IwW Gym War 13 and the Into the West tour among other shows. Meanwhile Mad Man Manson and Pierre Marceau returned from a trip to the US to perform on several ACWA shows in August.
PWA: IwW newcomer LA Warren has made several appearances for PWA and Canada's elite will shortly be making their presence known to IwW fans over the coming months.
"These are just the beginning of the developments though," said the spokesperson. "The proceeding few months will really see a difference in IwW's shows and we are sure that the difference will be overwhelmingly positive. We believe that we have the best fans on the European, possibly the world scene, and like to repay them with the best talent in the world."
For more information on this massive development, stay tuned to www.IrishWhipWrestling.com!

Last Week on Whiplash:
Last week's episode is available for download at the below URL:
http://www.irishwhipwrestling.com/whiplashtv.html
*In an interesting turn of events, 'Thee' Drew Galloway seems to have started a faction of sorts involving English star Stu Sanders and 'The French Paradox' Pierre Marceau . Perhaps scorned by the fact that he was unable to defeat Seamus O'Shaunessy in one-on-one competition, Drew seems to have enlisted international help in his effort to become IwW International Heavyweight Champion, and has taken his first shot at 'SOS' last week in a vicious attack to close the show on 'The Irish Curse' and Vic Viper.
*After a controversial win for Zero-Gravity star JP Monroe over Bubblegum where JP used a low blow to gain an unfair advantage, Bingo Ballance took offence to the tactics used to get ahead in a division he takes a lot of pride in. Ever the opportunist, 'The Heretic' Red Vinny seized this opportunity to make a four-way Zero-Gravity match for this week's Whiplash between all four competitors and decide who the top competitor in the division is.
This Week's Line-Up
Stu Sanders vs. Dave Steel
Two of England's most promising young wrestlers square off in what, on paper, would appear to be a fine technical bout worthy of any European card. However in practise one must keep in mind the interference Sanders provided last week to cost Steel a match with Drew Galloway. Along with the personal animosity that goes along with the match after last week, you would have to believe that both Galloway and Pierre Marceau would look to return the favour to Sanders and help him get his first win on the board in IwW. Will Dave Steel be able to survive such overwhelming odds?
Keego Ward & Jetta vs. Vic Viper & Jezebel
Two weeks ago, Keego Ward and the Ballymun Bruiser fell short in their efforts to thwart Vic Viper and Jezebel's rise up the IwW ranks. Viper is a household name in IwW and one of the most unstoppable forces in the promotion today, and Jezebel has been looking similarly dominant since her Whiplash debut a few weeks ago, but Keego and Bruiser are a resourceful duo and as a result have recruited Jetta - one of the UK's most renowned female wrestlers. It's a must-win situation for Keego and Jetta, and the 'Bruiser factor' at ringside looks to swing the advantage in their favour, but just how will things pan out?
Four-Way Zero-Gravity Action
JP Monroe vs. Bubblegum vs. Bingo Ballance vs. 'The Heretic' Red Vinny
Over the past few weeks on Whiplash, these four men have been taking wins from each other left, right and centre - resulting in last week's tainted victory for Monroe over Bubblegum that triggered the turn of events that saw this match come to pass. Rightfully, Red Vinny made his presence felt and pointed out that the one the highly-acclaimed Zero-Gravity division needed was finality. All four men have a rightful claim to being the top-name in the division: Monroe is one of the UK's most sought-after talents at the moment, Bubblegum one of the most beloved wrestlers in IwW history, Vinny has defeated the likes of Jody Fleisch, Johnny Storm and M-Dogg 20 in both four-way and singles action in his fast and furious rise to the top while, as Bingo has noted, the 'Ballance is shifting' on Whiplash TV with the Clontarf-native on an impressive winning streak. Who will get the last laugh in this ferociously competitive four-man war?

*'Thee' Drew Galloway won a triple-threat match also involving Vic Viper and short-term ally Pierre Marceau after Marceau and Galloway teamed up to eliminate Viper and Mad Man Manson took out Marceau, allowing Galloway to win and become Number One Contender to the IwW International Heavyweight Championship.
*Bingo Ballance declared that the 'Ballance was shifting' in IwW after he evened out his win-loss record at 2-2 with a huge win over the highly-reputed JP Monroe in yet another breathtaking Zero-Gravity match.
*In the first-ever women's match in Whiplash TV history, two of the UK's most recognised female talent - Jezebel and Skye went head-to-head. Jezebel was in control of the match when none of than Ballymun Bruiser and Keego Ward interfered, only to be chased off by Vic Viper. Despite her momentary distraction, Jezebel still went on to pick-up the monumental win.
This Week's Line-Up
Intergender Match
The Ballymun Bruiser vs. Jezebel
'The Man with the Golden Can' has been known to take a shortcut or two in the past, but seems to have reached a new low in his attempt to get to the top by challenging a female wrestler. However one thing Bruiser may have not counted on here is that Jezebel is not just any woman - she is one of the UK's hottest talents at the moment and more than capable of handling herself in the squared circle. This will be IwW's first-ever intergender match and cosnsidering the participants involved should make for some very interesting and entertaining viewing. But will Bruiser have bitten off more than he can chew in the fiery Jezebel?
Zero-Gravity Action
Bingo Ballance vs. Bubblegum
Last week on Whiplash, Ballance declared the 'Ballance' to be shifting in IwW after he put two consecutive losses behind him with two consecutive wins to match. He has challenged anyone to step up and try and put him back on a losing streak. Stepping up to the plate is none other than Bubblegum - who recently has been avenging some losses of his own in IwW with a recent victory over 'The Heretic' Red Vinny. This is a huge match for the Zero-Gravity division and is bound to bring action like no other - only as the aforementioned division can. Only one man can emerge with the three-count and his winning streak intact though, who will it be?
"One of the most violent matches in Irish wrestling history"
- IwW fan after witnessing the below match
Asylum Rules
'The French Paradox' Pierre Marceau vs. Mad Man Manson
In one of the most intense and empassioned rivalries in IwW history, Mad Man Manson and Pierre Marceau look to settle their differences once-and-for-all in a huge 'Asylum Rules' match. Pinfalls or submissions do not count in this match, the only rules are that hell MUST break loose and you must knock your opponent down for a count of 10 to survive the contest. For weeks the tension between Marceau and Manson has been building and the two look set to take each other's head off this Saturday on Whiplash.
The rivalry began after the two squared off in a one-on-one match several weeks ago on Whiplash. Manson was, as of that time, undefeated in IwW competition and looked to continue his streak against Marceau. However after the referee was knocked down and Ballymun Bruiser and Keego Ward has sufficiently laid out Manson, Bruiser counted the referee's hand down for three for the historic pinfall.
Marceau would, one week later, go on to gloat about the victory, only for an enraged Manson to hit the ring and incite a brawl with Pierre that would go all the way to the back.
The antagonism from 'The French Paradox' would continue a week afterwards as a Chokeslam into the ringpost would cost Manson yet another match - this time going down via countout to George McFly.
But Manson would gain a measure of revenge the following week as he interfered in a Number One contendership triple-threat match also involving an ultimately victorious Drew Galloway and Vic Viper. Manson cost Marceau the match despite the fact that the Frenchman seemed to have a distinct advantage over his opponents.
Now the scene has been set and the two look to settle this once-and-for-all inside the 'Asylum Rules' setting. We assure you that this will get violent quickly and brutally. This is one match you most certainly do NOT want to miss!
IwW Whiplash TV will be available for download at www.IrishWhipWrestling.com shortly after the main show airs. Once again, that's at 10pm this Saturday night on The Wrestling Channel.
IwW Gym War 15
King of the Gym continues...

KING OF THE GYM CONTINUES
After a hot and somewhat controversial start at IwW Gym War 14, the King of the Gym tournament is back to complete the semi-final brackets with the remaining two first round matches.
In the opening matches, controversy galore surrounded Ryan Regan's win over Harry Hardshaw. With the Ballymun Bruiser and Bam Katraz at ringside, all hell broke loose as these two graduates of the IwW Training Gym beat the hell out of each other in an effort to prove that they will be remembered as the 'King' of their generation of graduates. In the second match, JC Williams advanced in what was one hell of an exciting contest, defeating Blagger Boy in Training in a close fought contest. Their semi-final opponents will be decided at Gym War 15.
Although as of yet it is unknown just who will fill out the remaining four spaces in the tournament, rumours have been circulating and such names as Mandrake, Wayne Daly, Irish Dragon and Space Cadet have been named as possible entrants. There have also been rumours that a live draw will take place as Gym War kicks off to decide who out of the remaining participants will face each other in their attempt to reign supreme over the IwW Gym. As with all Gym Wars, nobody can guess what's going to go down, so you'll have to make sure you don't miss a moment of the action this Sunday!
QUESTIONS TO PONDER
IwW Gym War 14 left us a series of questions that are still unanswered for Gym War 15. Here are just some that have been on the lips of IwW fans over the past month:
*Will Bam Katraz be able to keep his winning streak after winning 'the big one' in the main event of IwW Gym War 14?
*How will 'The Heretic' Red Vinny and 'The Man with the Golden Can' Ballymun Bruiser react to their defeat? You'd have to believe that they will want to get a quick win back to save some face after losing such a high-profile match.
*What will the stars of Whiplash TV such as Mad Man Manson, Vic Viper and 'The French Paradox' Pierre Marceau have in store for us when they return to Gym War 15?
*Will commentator Eamonn Darcy have a response to the challenge laid out to him by Rick O'Shea at Gym War 14 for a match when IwW returns to Drogheda on Sunday 24th September?
To find out some of the answers, make sure you're in attendance THIS SUNDAY for yet another historic Gym War.

NEW TALENT ANNOUNCED...
Irish Whip Wrestling is extremely proud to announce that after the pulling out of the likes of 'The Pukka One' Darren Burridge and Pac, we have two more than capable replacements announced in NOAH's GO SHIOZAKI and Celtic Wrestling's CAIMAN.
GO SHIOZAKI is one of NOAH's premiere wrestlers today and has been tipped for great things. Many admirers see him joining the elite wrestlers of NOAH today such as Kenta Kobashi, Mitsuharu Misawa and KENTA sooner rather than later. He is the first mainstream Japanese wrestlers to appear on an Irish show and will no doubt set the Emerald Isle alight with his unique, innovative style. IwW officials and fans alike are chomping at the bit to see what Shiozaki can bring to the table.
CAIMAN has quickly earned a reputation as one of the top upcoming wrestlers in Britain today through Welsh promotion Celtic Wrestling. He is set for his Dublin debut after making a name for himself on the IwW scene during the 'Into the West' tour in July. Without a doubt, Caiman will add a new dimension to Whiplash TV and IwW is looking forward to seeing what he offers to the IwW fanbase.
THE FINAL ENCOUNTER...
IwW International Heavyweight Championship
SEAMUS O'SHAUNESSY vs. 'THEE' DREW GALLOWAY
For the whole of 2006, mortal enemies SEAMUS O'SHAUNESSY and 'THEE' DREW GALLOWAY have been beating the hell out of each other all over Ireland. This Sunday they settle things once and for all for the IwW International Heavyweight Championship. Who will emerge victorious in this ultra-personal rivalry and prove themselves to be the deserved IwW Champion? At the moment it is unknown, but the Foreign Legion, comprising of France's PIERRE MARCEAU and the UK's STU SANDERS will no doubt be on hand to have a say in the outcome.
A LEGEND RETURNS...
It's been almost 20 years since 'IRISH' PAT BARRETT made an appearance on an Irish professional wrestling show. This Sunday at International Intermingle, he returns. The former WWWF Tag-Team Champion will no doubt have a lot to say to the Irish wrestling fans after so long away from his homeland's squared circle. Make sure you're on hand to find out what goes down when 'Irish' Pat Barrett makes his return!
THE BEST FROM HOME AND ABROAD...
ROH and Dragon Gate star THE HORNET and All Star Wrestling's DOMINO make their respective Whiplash TV debuts as IwW continue their initiative to expose some of the best talent from at home and abroad to the Irish wrestling scene. Also on the card are Ireland's own, MAD MAN MANSON, VIC VIPER, BINGO BALLANCE, 'The Man with the Golden Can' BALLYMUN BRUISER, 'The Heretic' RED VINNY and Balbriggan's hometown hero, BAM KATRAZ.
IF YOU GO TO ONE WRESTLING SHOW THIS YEAR...
Make it International Intermingle - IwW's biggest show of 2006 and one that will leave them talking for months on end no doubt. You think you've seen everything Irish Whip Wrestling has to offer? You ain't seen nothing yet...

has proved again it is truely an international product.
Now, 'the Heretic' RED VINNY is heading to England to compete for RQW (real
quality wrestling) Summer Brawl 2006 in a 10 man cruiserweight elimination
rankings contest. Two of the participants in this match, Bubblegum and JP

IwW WHIPLASH TV 19/08/06 PREVIEW
Season 2, Episode 9
Saturday 19th August, 10pm, TWC (Sky Channel 427)
LAST WEEK ON WHIPLASH:
***Keego Ward and The Ballymun Bruiser pulled off a shock victory in their handicap match against Vic Viper after Bruiser took Viper's foot off the ropes...
***'Thee' Drew Galloway made fun of the injured Charlie Rage who hurt his shoulder on Whiplash several weeks ago...
***Seamus O'Shaunessy defeated the tough-talking UK Kid and seems to have shut up Galloway's new stablemate (for now at least) after successfully defending the IwW International Heavyweight Championship.
THIS WEEK'S LINE UP
'THE HERETIC' RED VINNY vs. BUBBLEGUM
These two tore the house down - putting in a Match of the Year candidate - last October at IwW's appearance, with Vinny emerging victorious courtesy of a Tear Drop. This year they look set to take battle again. However, with Bubblegum returning to Whiplash more focused and eager to prove himself among the elite European cruiserweights - will 'The Heretic' be able to protect his undefeated streak against the man from Hubba-Bubba-Ville?
GEORGE McFLY vs. MAD MAN MANSON
Another rematch, with McFly this time vying to defend his undefeated record against the near-unstoppable Mad Man Manson. Manson was not on the losing end of the match in IwW until season two - however with two losses (one, a countout, at the hands of McFly and the other, a tainted pinfall, from Pierre Marceau) - Manson appears to be on some kind of a losing streak. Can he begin to avenge this injustices with a win over the former Party Animal?
IwW INTERNATIONAL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
'SOS' SEAMUS O'SHAUNESSY (c) vs. KEEGO WARD
Ward, and his tag-team partner The Ballymun Bruiser, have shot to quick (though questionable) success throughout season two of Whiplash - making the lives of such staples in IwW as Vic Viper and Mad Man Manson a misery. It appears, though, that they have taken their shady antics a step too far and pissed off the wrong staple - as now Seamus O'Shaunessy is gunning for the duo. However, together both men have seen the likes of Viper and Manson - two men previously thought of as unbeatable in IwW - laying down for the three-count. One has to wonder if this edition of Whiplash will see 'The King of Killiney' and 'The Man with the Golden Can' get their comeuppance or will 'SOS' be the latest on their impressive list of victims as a new champion may be in store...
IwW Whiplash TV will be available for download at www.IrishWhipWrestling.com shortly after the main show airs. Once again, that's at 10pm this Saturday night on The Wrestling Channel.

Bam Wins the Big One
It's been said before that IwW's Bam Katraz was destined to be just another comedy act that would never win main events in IwW.
In fact, the same thing was said by The Ballymun Bruiser after Bam thwarted Bruiser's attempts to advance his protege Harry Hardshaw to the semi-final of the King of the Gym tournament (Hardshaw would be downed by young up-and-comer Ryan Regan).
Bruiser declared himself to be a 'main eventer' while Bam was never going to win the big one. Jawing, the two agreed to wrestle in the main event of Gym War 14 to see if Bam could win the big one. However this match was to be short-lived, as moments later 'The Heretic' Red Vinny would rush to the ring to plunge this situation into a further stage of anarchy.
Vinny made it clear that he was the 'real main eventer', having been on the victorious side of so many of IwW's highest profile matches. As Bruiser slowly ejected himself from the situation, Vinny and Bam squared off - with a triple-threat match made for the evening's now mouth-watering main event. Vinny then proceeded to raise the stakes by refusing to shake Bam's hand until he could win 'the big one'.
The triple-threat saw the odds firmly stacked against Bam. Bringing action to you like only IwW can, Vinny and Bruiser would momentarily team up in an effort to thwart Bam's chances of reaching the upper echelon. Ever the opportunist though, Bruiser would soon turn on his short-lived friend, giving Bam the opportunity to make a comeback.
With Vinny and Bruiser at each other's throats, Bam took out both men before eventually finishing off 'The Heretic' with an incredible Spinning Torture Rack Powerbomb to finally win 'the big one' and show that the potential that has won the hearts of IwW fans across the country was not unfounded.
Afterwards, Vinny and Bam shook hands in an admirable show of respect.
The sky is now the limit for the plucky Katraz, what can happen next in the career of this excitable young superstar?
King of the Gym Arrives with a Bang
With a plethora of new talent fresh from the IwW Gym arriving on the Gym War scene every month, it was inevitable that something would have to be done to see just who out of these young, hungry potentials would rise to the top. Thus the King of the Gym tournament was born.
An eight-man tournament, Gym War 14 saw the first two quarter-final matches take place -and already IwW fans know they're in for a hell of a journey over the coming months.
The opening match soon descended into chaos as Harry Hardshaw took on Ryan Regan. Hardshaw had his mentor. The Ballymun Bruiser in his corner, while Regan was seconded by Bam Katraz. With interference and madness galore going on at ringside, fans were treated to a show-stealing match in the ring, with Katraz taking out Bruiser allowing Regan to down Hardshaw for the three-count with a Cutter to advance to the semis.
The second quarter-final was one for the books, with young, Sligo star JC Williams taking on Blagger Boy in Training. In an excitement-packed match, JC managed to survive a barrage of attacks from the young Blagger to emerge victorious and go on to the semi-finals to face an opponent to be determined at the next Gym War.
The next two quarter-final matches with take place at Gym War 15 and if the opening two are anything to go by - you'd be a fool to miss them.
O'Shea refuses to 'Walk the (Professional) Line'
It all seemed like such a normal night in IwW history as Gym War 14 opened up with IwW Head Official Rick O'Shea presenting the show alongside the voice of Whiplash TV Eamonn Darcy.
The two appeared to be enjoying the night like all of the IwW crowd, until Darcy entered the ring to perform his patented 'Darcy Shuffle'.
The shuffle would shockingly be cut short, however, by an unexpected Rickter Scale from O'Shea. As fans looked on in shock, O'Shea took the mic and explained that he "refused to toe the professional line anymore."
He explained, "For two years I have come to every show and refereed and announced wannabes who were given opportunities only to up-and-leave because they couldn't make it in a wrestling ring."
He then went on to declare Eamonn Darcy one of said "wannabes", citing Darcy pinning him at IwW's show in Drogheda last June after O'Shea's match with Bam Katraz.
O'Shea would then sensationally challenge Darcy to a match at IwW's next appearance in Drogheda on September 24th promising that what he did to him tonight, "would be nothing compared to what he would do if Darcy didn't accept".
The challenge has been made. Will Darcy accept the self-proclaimed 'Made for TV Messiah's' challenge? Find out over the coming weeks on www.IrishWhipWrestling.com!

Pat Barrett to appear at Irish Whip Wrestlings International Intermingle in Balbriggan on Sunday 27th August
IrishWhipWrestling.com is extremely proud and priveleged to announce that, for the first time in approximately 20 years, the legendary Irish Pat Barrett will be making a live appearance in Ireland at IwW's upcoming Whiplash TV taping, 'International Intermingle' (Sunday 27th August - Combined Community Centre, Balbriggan, Dublin).
Barrett shot to fame throughout the 60s and 70s for becoming the first Irishman to make a name for himself as a major player on the American and British scene, in the modern years.
He has wrestled all across the world, in the US, UK, Canada, Japan, Puerto Rico, Mexico. "You name a place, he's wrestled in it," said a senior IwW official. He is a former WWWF (now WWE) Tag-Team Champion with Dominic Denucci (who is famous nowadays for being the trainer of future WWE Champion Mick Foley) and his heritage to today still lives on by having feuded with the first two generations of The Rock's family, having memorable bouts with both 'High Chief' Peter Maivia and fellow former Tag-Team Champion, Rocky Johnson. In Britain he earned a reputation as an international superstar through classic bouts with the likes of 'Rollerball' Mark Rocco and Chic Cullen (who IwW fans might remember made an appearance for the promotion at the IwW SuperShow in March 2005).
"This is incredible news for Irish wrestling fans, IwW wrestlers and staff alike," said one spokesperson. "Irish Pat Barrett has literally seen and done it all in his storied career and can teach an incredible amount to the students of the IwW training gym. I'm sure he'll have some amazing stories for the fans of International Intermingle and all of us at IwW are extremely excited to see what this legitimate legend of the game can bring to the table in Irish Whip."
IwW International Intermingle is IwW's biggest television taping of the year and boasts a wealth of talent from around the world in addition to Barrett. Limited VIP tickets are currently SOLD OUT though there are still General Admission tickets (cost: E10) available.
The following results are from IwW's show in Ashbourne Community Centre, Co Meath on Sunday 6th August, 2006:

Last Week:
*IwW Champion 'SOS' Seamus O' Shaunessy challenged Charlie Rage to a re-match, and Rage accepted, making it a three-way match including 'Thee' Drew Galloway.
*Vic Viper was saved from a severe beatdown from opponant Pierre Marceau, as well as Keego Ward and the Ballymun Bruiser, while Mad Man Manson was saved from a similar fate by Viper while facing Keego Ward.
*After Pac and Red Vinny both overcame IwW prodigy Bingo Ballance in recent weeks, the two faced off in a high-octane match with Vinny coming out on top
'THE FRENCH PARADOXX' PIERRE MARCEAU & KEEGO WARD vs. VIC VIPER & MAD MAN MANSON
These four men have crossed each others paths in recent weeks, and this week on Whiplash they have a showdown, with the 'Insane One' Mad Man Manson teaming up with the 'Snakeman' Vic Viper against Keego Ward and 'The French Paradoxx' Pierre Marceau.
If recent matches have been anything to go by, the Ballymun Bruiser will also be involved in this massive tag-team match. Can Viper and Manson deal with the French powerhouse Marceau and the sick 'King of Killeney' Keego Ward?
IwW International Heavyweight Champion 'SOS' SEAMUS O'SHAUNESSY vs 'THEE' DREW GALLOWAY vs. CHARLIE RAGE
For weeks, IwW Champion SOS has put his title on the line against all comers. However, a series of interferences have meant that all matches have ended questionably. in order to settle this, the two top contenders in IwW will face the champion in what is sure to be a power struggle between three huge athletes. Can SOS retain the title or will the Irish Championship be taken overseas?
Once again the show will air this Saturday at 10pm on TWC and repeated throughout the week. For those without TWC, it will be available to download on www.IrishWhipWrestling.com!

LAST WEEK:
*Controversy continued to reign over the IwW International Heavyweight Championship scene, this time with Charlie Rage going on a rampage during champion Seamus O'Shaunessy's title match with Drew Galloway and laying out everyone involved.
*Pac showed a different side to him while commentating on Red Vinny's win over Bingo Ballance, proclaiming that he, and all English athletes, were better than the Irish. This led to Red Vinny challenging him to a match this week
*Newcomer Keego Ward made good on his promise to take out one of the most recognisable faces in IwW when he, the Ballymun Bruiser and George McFly beat down Mad Man Manson after the latter's match with McFly. Manson promised that he would get the better of Keego in the end.
'THE FRENCH PARADOX' PIERRE MARCEAU vs. VIC VIPER
A rematch from two weeks ago on 'Whiplash' - where Viper would come away with a close-fought victory. Marceau has become a household name on IwW's house show scene in recent months, quickly becoming known as one of the most dominant players in Irish Whip, and this rare loss was one he didn't take too kindly too. However if Viper is known to IwW fans as one thing it is damn-near unstoppable and he will look to cement this reputation with another high-profile win here.
KEEGO WARD vs. MAD MAN MANSON
For weeks, Keego has been promising to 'kick some heads in' and in his 'Whiplash' debut match comes up against the ultimate test, Mad Man Manson. Manson, who is as of yet undefeated in IwW, was left incensed by last week's attack after his so-called 'technical marvel' with George McFly. This isn't going to be a wrestling match by any means, it will be one unadulterated fight. If Keego really wants to make an impact on IwW, what better way to do so than to hand Manson his first defeat?
PAC vs. 'THE HERETIC' RED VINNY
This match on paper alone will have hardcore wrestling fans salivating at the prospect. Pac is almost unanimously tipped by peers and fans alike to be one of Britain's biggest stars sooner rather than later, while Red Vinny has been receiving likewise plaudits from his Irish counterparts. This isn't just a case of Pac vs. Red Vinny then, it's a case of Britain vs. Ireland - and last week on 'Whiplash', while recognising Vinny's achievements in the ring, Pac went on record to say that British athletes were just generally superior to the Irish. Red Vinny has spent the entire of 2005 proving the critics wrong and now, with his career outlooked even more focused than ever, looks to continue to do so in 2006. But will it come at the expense of one of Britain's elite?
PLUS - REACTION TO LAST WEEK'S TITLE CONTROVERSY
For the past two weeks, both CHARLIE RAGE and 'THEE' DREW GALLOWAY have interfered in each other's respective title matches with IwW International Heavyweight Champion, 'SOS' SEAMUS O'SHAUNESSY. This has created a scene of confusion, chaos and controversy. All three men will be present this week on 'Whiplash' - but how will they react to this title controversy and will anything be resolved once this edition of 'IwW Whiplash TV' is through? You'll have to tune in to find out.
Once again the show will air this Saturday at 10pm on TWC and repeated throughout the week. For those without TWC, it will be available to download on www.IrishWhipWrestling.com !
The following is the match listing for the 'IwW Whiplash TV' taping that was held in The Forum, Waterford on Saturday 1st July, 2006:

SEASON 2, EPISODE 2
SATURDAY 1st JULY @ 10pm
THE WRESTLING CHANNEL (SKY 427)
LAST WEEK:
The return of 'IwW Whiplash TV' to TWC was not without controversy - as IwW Heavyweight Champion, 'SOS' Seamus O'Shaunessy saw what should have been a regular title defence against England's Charlie Rage marred by interference from 'Thee' Drew Galloway, who then inexplicably helped his arch-nemesis to victory. Also on the show, Bingo Ballance and Pac impressed upon their respective 'Whiplash TV' debuts. Vic Viper notched up another impressive victory against another newcomer, 'The French Paradox' Pierre Marceau. Also, yet another new face to the IwW scene, Keego Ward, had some daunting words for Irish Whip Wrestling when he said that he and partner - The Ballymun Bruiser - were going to run through the promotion.
Here's only the beginning of what you can expect to see on this week's edition of 'IwW Whiplash TV':
'THE HERETIC' RED VINNY vs. BINGO BALLANCE
Red Vinny was the star of so many IwW classics last year, having sensational matches with the likes of Jody Fleisch, Jonny Storm, M-Dogg 20, Vic Viper and Bubblegum among others. He is a star that is tipped for great things and looks to excel on his already gleaming reputation this series. Meanwhile, Ballance is looking to regain some face after a close fought loss last week to Pac. Ballance impressed many but people say that 'The Next AJ Styles' needs a big win to really kickstart his career. These two have torn up the IwW house show scene with their matches throughout early 2006 and look to add another classic to the books for TWC - but who will come out the winner?
GEORGE MCFLY vs. MAD MAN MANSON
Some of you may know McFly from Season One as one half of the Party Animals - well meet Georgie Mac, the self-proclaimed 'new and improved' singles version who has his sights set on the top after dropping tag-team partner Bam Katraz. In the other corner, he faces Mad Man Manson - who has yet to be defeated in IwW. 'The Insane One' has been in some of the craziest brawls this country has ever seen and with stakes this high, this match looks to be no different.
IwW INTERNATIONAL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
'SOS' SEAMUS O'SHAUNESSY vs. 'THEE' DREW GALLOWAY
Last week, Galloway helped longtime enemy O'Shaunessy to victory in his title defence against Charlie Rage - why? Will we find out tonight as the two are scheduled to face each other in this mouth-watering title match? 'SOS' was Galloway's first opponent upon Drew's entrance to IwW and the two have left body parts and classic matches all over Ireland ever since with their heated rivalry. As 'Whiplash TV' rolls on, will Galloway finally be able to take the title from O'Shaunessy? Will Charlie Rage have anything to say about Galloway costing him the title last week? The only way you can find out is by watching 'IwW Whiplash TV' next Saturday at 10pm on TWC (Sky Channel 427).
Once again the show will air this Saturday at 10pm on TWC and repeated throughout the week. For those without TWC, it will be available to download on www.IrishWhipWrestling.com !

*Season 2 of 'Whiplash' began with new presenter Fiona Fox running down the card for tonight: IwW's own Bingo Ballance goes one-on-one with the UK's Pac, Vic Viper will take on newcomer Pierre Marceau and we will hear from IwW International Heavyweight Champion: 'SOS' Seamus O'Shaunessy.
*We headed down to ringside for a promo from none other than 'SOS' himself. Seamus started by saying 'Come With Me'. He told the fans to join him as he takes on the best from Ireland, Europe, the US and Canada, taking the title to world recognition. Tonight he puts the title against England's best: Charlie Rage - who he faced and defeated a year ago at IwW SuperShow 1 in March 2005. He challenges Rage to come out, and Rage obliges. Rage says that he has beaten the best in England and will take the IwW International Title tonight. SOS says he needs to know that he can still beat Rage and prove his worth as champion once and for all. Rage says that England is bigger and better than Ireland causing a brawl to ensue all around the arena to herald the return of 'Whiplash TV'!
*Fiona Fox then interviewed Keego Ward, who introduced himself and said that his partner, Ballymun Bruiser wasn't here tonight due to organising transportation. They're going to run through IwW until it's called Keego and Bruiser Wrestling. He tells Fiona to run the bath, he'll be there for a minute and a half and they'll be home for EastEnders.
1) PAC DEFEATED BINGO BALLANCE VIA PINFALL
Both men were determined to kick-off the first match of Season 2 in style, pulling out the best moves in their arsenal. In a high-flying, speedy affair, Pac would fly out of the ring with a handspring moonsault to the outside. Ballance would later counter that, sailing over the top-rope with a flying cross body. In the end, Pac would emerge victorious after laying out Ballance with a front-face suplex off the top before hitting his 630 Senton to get the win.
*'The French Paradox' Pierre Marceau had some words for his opponent tonight, Vic Viper. Tonight, he said, it would be as simple to beat him as to get money from Ireland's social system.
2) VIC VIPER DEFEATED 'THE FRENCH PARADOX' PIERRE MARCEAU VIA PINFALL
This was an all-out brawl that saw Marceau dominate for the most part, cheating whenever Viper looked to be gaining some momentum. However Viper would fight back - kicking out of a devastating Spinebuster - and after dodging an attempted Senton Bomb from the 235lb Marceau, Viper would hit a massive Snake Bite to continue his winning streak in IwW.
3) IwW INTERNATIONAL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
'SOS' SEAMUS O'SHAUNESSY DEFEATED CHARLIE RAGE VIA PINFALL TO RETAIN
Before the match, 'SOS' would show Rage what an Irish curse was - kicking Rage in the groin before the bell rang to the crowd's enjoyment. Momentarily deterred, it would not be long before Rage used his sneaky tactics to get an advantage over 'SOS'. Rage laid 'SOS' out with an impressive Fallaway Slam for a two, then beginning to wear down Seamus and take away the crowd who were firmly behind the champ. 'SOS' would fight back, hitting a top-rope legdrop, but his fightback would come to an abrupt halt after he mistakenly whipped Rage into referee Rick O'Shea, leaving nobody to count Rage's shoulders down for the three after a Celtic Slam had the challenger motionless in the ring.
Using this distraction to his advantage, Rage would soon recover and beat down a concerned 'SOS'. O'Shaunessy would prove impossible to beat though, as a Rage Rectifier (Spear) and a Belly-to-Belly couldn't get the three. It was not the referee's night as yet again he found himself knocked out after Rage bumped into an already groggy O'Shea. While all of this was happening, down went Drew Galloway - long-time enemy of 'SOS' - to the ring. Drew grabbed the IwW Title belt and looked to lay out Seamus - only to turn and knock out Charlie in the process. 'SOS' crawled over and covered a fallen Rage as the ref recovered to count the three and see 'SOS' retain in a controversial manner.

and is also available for download at http://www.irishwhipwrestling.com/whiplashtv.html
With a revamped roster, improved production, a hot new presenter in the lovely Fiona Fox and so much more - Season 2 is already looking to blow Season 1 out of the water and set The Wrestling Channel alight with IwW's fresh, innovative brand of professional wrestling!
IwW has cut the crap and this year brings you only the best wrestlers from the Emerald Isle, mixing the top talents from Season 1 (Seamus O'Shaunessy, Red Vinny, Mad Man Manson, Vic Viper etc) with a fresh blend of new IwW names ( e.g. Pierre Marceau, Keego Ward, Bingo Ballance) and, as always, we bring you the very best of the British and World scene - with names such as Chad Collyer, Drew Galloway and Charlie Rage appearing in star-studded, action-filled from top-to-bottom cards that intend to display to you the best that IwW has to offer and cement IwW as THE top wrestling promotion in Europe once-and-for-all.
Below is a quick glance at what you can expect to find (and more) if you tune in this Saturday, 10pm on TWC!
PAC vs. BINGO BALLANCE
These two young warriors make their debut on 'Whiplash TV' looking to build on the cult followings they've already amassed on the British and Irish scenes. Pac is one of, if not the, UK's most renowned cruiserweights while Ballance has been tipped by IwW's fans to be the Breakout Star of '06 and has been called 'the next AJ Styles' by some. These two have some of the most innovative and spectacular offences in wrestling today, not to mention their respective finishers - Pac's 630 Senton Splash and Ballance's BSP (inverted Shooting Star Press) - but just who will be able to hit their move and emerge victorious in this engrossing opener to Season 2?
PIERRE MARCEAU vs. VIC VIPER
Viper made a name for himself as unstoppable during Season 1. To add to that, he still feels screwed out of his #1 Contendership to the IwW International Heavyweight Championship that he lost when he wasn't pinned during a triple-threat match eventually won by current champion Seamus O'Shaunessy last year. There's no doubt that 'The Snakeman' will look to put himself back in the title mix with a win here. But in his way stands one of the most dominant and impressive new names on the IwW scene this year: 'The French Paradox' Pierre Marceau. At 6'4" and 245lbs, will Viper be able to overcome potentially his most ominous opponent yet?
IwW International Heavyweight Championship Match
CHARLIE RAGE vs. 'SOS' SEAMUS O'SHAUNESSY (c)
Two men whose names have become synonymous with WWE as a result of their regular try-outs square off in a mouth-watering main event. Rage and SOS last locked up at IwW's 2004 Super Show where they stole the show with a non-title match - with SOS emerging victorious. However, much has changed in the interceding 16 months, not to mention the fact that SOS is now IwW International Heavyweight Champion! With gold on the line this time, you would have to believe that all the stops will be pulled out from both men in an effort to prove supremacy from to get-go of Season 2 - but just who will walk out champion?
All that and more is to be expected as IwW makes a splash back onto TWC screens this Saturday night at 10pm. Make sure you don't miss out!
