Gonzo De Mondo is a newcomer to IwW but has made quite an impression in his short time with the company. Debuting in the Celtic Gauntlet in December, he intended to announce his arrival with an immediate assault on the Heavyweight gold. He almost came out on top, impressing against George McFly, Red Vinny and Vic Viper in a four way match-up, the latter ending up victorious to cement his number 1 contendership.

Gonzo seamlessly blends his incredible technical skill with his immense power into a package which has IwW mainstays such as SOS, Mad Man Manson and Vic Viper looking nervously over their shoulders. His knowedge of mat wrestling means that there are very few in Irish Whip who can compete with him in a ground based match although there will be no shortage of challengers as he attempts to rise through the ranks of IwW.

Gonzo De Mondo will now try to prove himself a player in Irish Whip as we enter 2006 and he will hope to be given the chance to showcase his undoubted skills to IwW fans whether they like it or not.
