As a mainstay in the TWA (The Wrestling Alliance), Flatliner picked up his first major title on 1st February 2002, as he defeated "Barbarian" Karl Krammer for the European Heavyweight Championship.

In the opening show of TWA's "Championship Night" tour, Flatliner defeated Chris Kay to become Young Wrestler of the Year for 2002.

Flatliner had the honour of going one on one against the WWF legend Jake "The Snake" Roberts at the IwW October show.
